Kazi Nazrul Islam’s name will live as long as
people value freedom and human dignity. He was
a rebel all his life and his poems will always find
an echo in every patriotic heart. He moulded the
Bengali language, as a fit and vibrant instru ment
for expressing his fiery and patriotic sentiments.
He had achieved remarkable blend of Bengali,
Persian and Arabic wards and introduced the
ghazal form into Bengali music. Freedom loving
and progressive people everywhere will always
gratefully remember the services of this great
savant of Bengali literature. Communal harmony
was his life-breath. His demise is an irreparable
loss to India and Bangladesh..
