Happy Doctor\'s Day

Our allegations against them are endless. We don’t find them mannerly or efficient enough. They don’t serve our every needs (i.e. check, the fan is turned off!!).
Very few of us get to know them, their stories. We don’t even try.
They have to pass one of our most prestigious and toughest admission test after Higher Secondary Examination. Only Best of the Best ones get admitted & their stories go on. So goes on their frustrations & fatigues।

I always say that, 'Almighty doesn’t make us all equal to be worthy to be a doctor'. All profession needs a human to be intelligent and hard-working. While being a doctor requires pursuit too. They're special, Always special.

Blood and Nerve supply from Anatomy, Krebs Cycle in Biochemistry. Counter Current Mechanism in Physiology. If anyone go through Ganong's Review of Medical Physiology, he or she could hear "The voice of one crying in the wilderness"
Neoplasia in Pathology, Summon from Forensic or Virology from Micro bio, Drug Metabolism from Pharma etc. along with ComMed’s Public Health can drive anyone to mad enough to drop out.
Subjects like GBS from Medicine or Eclampsia from Gynae, Craniotomy from Surgery only made their tiresome nights longer.

So, there is an internship year and a half long after 5 years of pressure. Some of us do know their internship as a job but it’s actually NOT.

Their journey doesn’t end here, They get coaching for post-graduation, they try to get supervised by experts, and they even have to pass another exam to be supervised. Some of them joins as Honorary Officers aka HMO. We can complete our Masters easily in 5/6 years. But they don’t get to complete their bachelors before 7/8 years. Their promotions even depend on academic conditions unlike others.
I don’t want to question their associations. I am sure governing bodies of those associations are good enough than me. But as a friend, I will surely look for better working environment for them. I will surely stand for them if they are harmed.

Some can call it a stunt, I don’t care.

We can easily label treatments ‘right’ & ‘wrong’. We get to judge them and their treatments easily in this county. Can we even say the difference between 'Nephrology' and 'Urology' without googling? But they firmly stand and serve their lives for us after all of these acts.
On this Doctor's Day I'd like to thanks all the Doctor's of my country, who came with their Never Holding Back Attitude. In this catastrophic situation, you made me believe once again that all angels don't have wings some have white coat & stethoscope.

Thank You Doctor's for Being there when we're in shortage of Super Heros.
