وَدُّواْ لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُواْ فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاء فَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء حَتَّىَ يُهَاجِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدتَّمُوهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا
"তারা চায় যে, তারা যেমন কাফের, তোমরাও তেমনি কাফের হয়ে যাও, যাতে তোমরা এবং তারা সব সমান হয়ে যাও। অতএব, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত করে চলে আসে। অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না এবং সাহায্যকারী বানিও না। "

বীরেনদ্র বলেছেন: To understand the surah, you need 'Tafsir" under what circumstances the surah was revealed . Those who are blind can not see the beauty of the holy Quran. These are the explanation of the believer.
The believer will never accept any flaw in it because they will say " As a Muslim I am bound to believe it"
It matters little whether it is true or not but it matters most when a Muslim goes to kill others under the pretext of the Surah. Then it becomes the duty of the others to protect themselves. They will never realise that if they hate others, the others will hate them too, if they kill others, the others will kill them too.
May be for Bangladesh where 90% people are Muslims they can force people to believe it. But where the Muslims are minority they will never utter the surah. In stead they will call for peace . The Muslims will try to convince that Islam means peace - an utterly baseless claim.
