Islam in my eyes.

Astonishingly the word “Sufi” has derived from the word “Safa” which means pure. Bt the way my nickname is Safa. Alright back to wjere we were so the Sufis are indeed the purest forms of human being. They follow a very simple way of life,with some simple standards. One should not take lightly the word “simple” as mere humans are more likely to fail in performing these simple set of rules. Sufis are absolutely selfless embodiments who have completely sacrificed their existence into serving the divine purpose,The Almighty Allah. They are never satiesfied enough with their deeds and are always in the act of giving and helping others who are deprived in any way.

Now if we talk about the scenario of Muslims,in Bangladesh to be specific,there are very few people who actually have grasped the idealogy behind the real Islam or the Sufis. As we have recently seen there have been attacks made on innocent people,the reason being that they were not Muslims? In the name of so called “Jihad”? Where in the Holy Quaran it has been quoted that the lives of innocent humans can be taken away in the name of claiming rightfullness towards Islam? Where has it been written that a free thinker can be slaughtered to death like the Jamatis did? It isn’t. This is not Islam. The individuals who carry out these merciless acts are not representatives of Islam but followers of terrorism and are afflicted by shear hatred and mental disorder. It is really sad that so many had to give up their lives in the name of “Islam”. Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said “Forgiveness is the greatest virtue” but sadly these so called Muslims have shown zero tolerance or mercy in times of afflicting their horrible and barbaric acts on the innocent people.

Islam is a religion of peace and these people are giving it a bad name. We should try more to be like the Sufis and less like the Jamaatis or the extremist Muslims. The world has become a place full of sin and the Almighty is watching. Its only because of the Oli and Sufi people that the world and its inhabitants are still in one piece, otherwise we would have been done for. So we should stop oursleves into deviating into Shaytan’s way and bring ourselves back into the path of light and peace,the path of Islam.
