CANADA TO TRANSFER TECHNOLOGY IN BANGLADESH

Canada has agreed to transfer modern technology to the Small and Medium (SME) industries in Bangladesh, reports BSS. Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Benoit Pierre Laramee told his country’s decision to Industries Minister during a meeting at Industry Ministry. The high commissioner added, Nearly 90 per cent factoring of Canada is under the SME sector and the high technology has injected value addition vastly to the SME sector, and the Bangladeshi entrepreneurs will be benefited for the transfer of Canadian technology. Describing the flexible investment policy taken by the government, Industries Minister said a congenial and business friendly environment is now prevailing in Bangladesh. He said the government will consider utmost if Canadian entrepreneurs are showed interest to invest in Bangladesh.
