If I adrift in heavy rain shower of monsoon
Like the farmer’s crop showering in heavy rainfall helplessly,
When a bunch of Crows & Mynas
are searching for backdoors,
When dense green leaf’s are
Drifting silently,
Ducks & Hens are rasping their wings hardly,
When green are nowhere to be seen,
Everywhere water is dancing
merrily with the wind,
If then thou couldn’t track down me,
If then thou couldn’t hear the tune of my voice
Assume then! I’m walking on the path of death.
There won’t be any flowers or the falcons,
Nor there be any Ribbon to wake me up,
One day I will no longer be the part of this land…..
I’m crying thousands of sweet tunes of birds,
I’m longing for the path, long the smell of mud’s.
I can’t assume anymore, when I would see you again.
When the water drifts my longing for you.
I will cry, I’ll shout deep in my soul
I’ll urge for you, I’ll long for you.
Dear! Please hold me & make me believe
Make me believe in love, the love which only lives in your city,
Please do hold me tight in your heart.
