Govt to construct int’l modern theatre complex

This is the age of digital technology as such the government has a plan to construct an international standard theatre complex as there is no such hall in the country for producing good stage dramas. Govt to construct an international standard theater complex having all modern facilities in Bangladesh. The had chosen a place for the theater hall and it will be built at the proposed convention centre just beside the Padma Bridge. Its stage will move automatically and there will be no need to change the set repeatedly. Recalling the contributions of cultural activists, it will be helpful for strengthening cultural movement alongside women’s development. The Prime Minister underscored the need for, as her government is ready to do everything possible for the advancement of cultural activities in the country. Under the project, a five-storey complex building having two full-fledged auditoriums-one with 242 seats ant another with 170 seats-have been constructed alongside a 45-seat modern conference room and two basements for parking.
