I have always believed that life is about opening doors. We are opening one door after another, seeing things, learning. I opened a door of my life on August 5, 2007. I will always remember that day. It was like the last scene of The Breakfast Club; John Bender thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got Claire Standish! I had Grameenphone. It was like yesterday, fourteen kids wondering around Grameenphone office. And then six years have passed, everyone leaving me behind. Yet another cliché line, “time goes fast”. I am going to remember everything about Grameenphone, every single thing. The nudging sound of Avaya, a sudden laughter around the corner and the curious eyes all around looking for answers, the buzzing sound of the AC and the restless humming of people. A lot of things in my mind, wanted to write about all of them but words are too heavy today.



I have always been around great people and everyone means a lot to me. I am going to remember you all. I truly am going to remember you all because in a way I grew around you.



From one fine morning to a gloomy rainy evening of August, in between six wonderful years. This is how it ends. Have to go now...

প্রিয় Mir Rubaiyat Auvik ভায়া,



আশা করি আল্লাহর রহমতে ভাল আছেন। পর সমাচার এই যে, কোমরের বেথার দরুন অনেকদিন ধরে লিখব লিখব করেও লেখা হইতেছে নাহ। আপনার গুডবাই মেইল পইড়া চউখ বায়া গালে পানি আয়া পরছে ভায়া। কি অসাধারণ লেখা! এইরকম একটা লেখা লিখতে পারলে ভারত পাকিস্তানের যুদ্ধ শেষ হইয়া যাইত। এরশাদ চাচা ঠিক এইরকমের একটা প্রেমপত্র দিতে পারলে হিলারি ক্লিনটনকেও পটাইয়া ফালাইতে পারতেন! আহা, কি সাবলীল ভাষা! আমার তো ভায়া চিঠি লেখালেখি কইরা প্রেম করতে মুনচায়। দোয়া রাখবেন।



শেষতক আর বিশেষ কি লিখব? জিপি ম্যানেজমেন্ট আপনার মত একটা জুয়েল কে হারাইল। মাঝে মাঝে মুনচায় জিপি'র মানাজমেনট কে নিয়া রাস্তায় দাঁড়াইয়া থাকি। তখন লোক দেখলেই বলব,



'তুমরা আমাকে ভাল কাঠাল পাতা দাও, আমি তুমাদের উত্তম ছাগল দিব'
