Bangladesh has historically not been a target of terrorism. This may've surprised you, but if you compare terrorist attacks in countries like Pakistan or even India, you'll see that Bangladesh is somewhere at the bottom. Though there are some terrorist groups, they haven't really been as organized or posed a real security threat. Those that did were quickly erased. The rise of terrorism was mostly caused by a failure of the political system. Deteriorating justice, lack of proper governance had alienated the public and they turned to the religious extremism as a way out of it. Terrorists take advantage of the political dreadlocks and offer the Khilafat way of life as a viable alternative solution. Whether inspired or coordinated, the recent attacks have drawn attention to the growing number of civilian deaths caused by the group outside of Iraq and Syria.The Islamic State has a history of attacking mosques, hotels, busy city streets and other civilian targets in mostly non-Western countries. The civilian death toll outside Iraq and Syria has risen to nearly 1,000 since January.

আবির ০০ বলেছেন: Bangladesh is always against terrorism.Some murder in Bangladesh are the result of political issue's.You can't call it terrorism.Look at,Pakistan, Afghanistan, they are the real victim of terrorism.There is no terrorist in Bangladesh.Our country would not be the target of terrorist inshallah.
