The holy books

When someone dying
And almost died,
There are two things you can do,
Pray to the almighty for the peace of his soul
Or a pain free dead.

On the other hand though
You can whisper into his ears
Cuddle his body and close his eyes
And say 'i am sorry and goodbye!'

Basically a departing soul
Can feel your touch and whisper too
But never feel the thoughts
What have been written in the holy books.


(Inspired by the story of MP Tobias Ellwood when he tried to save the life of PC Keith Palmer injured by the Westminster terror attack, the attacker was Khalid Masood, on 22 March 2017.)
