A Message to Mom

Dear Mom,

Today is the Mother’s Day, one of the most emotional, beautiful, heart-touchy days in my life. specially it reminds the true power behind motherhood. If there’s one person in this world who can love us unconditionally, care for us without limits and make us smile effortlessly, it is you dear mother.



I may not always spell it out to you but you are everything to me.



Mother's Day is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood. It's celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly second Sunday of May. The celebration of Mother's Day began in the United States in the early 20th century, similar to the Greek cult to Cybele, the Roman festival of Hilaria, or the Christian Mothering Sunday celebration



It's associated with different events (religious, historical or legendary), and is celebrated on different dates. It is a little-known festival celebrated mainly by immigrants, or covered by the media as a taste of foreign culture, So as a foreigners, immigrants I'm missing my mom badly.



In some cases it's also related with religion. In the Roman Catholic Church, the holiday is strongly associated with revering the Virgin Mary. In many Catholic homes, families have a special shrine devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Some of them pray in honor of the Virgin Mary. But most Arab countries are celebrated on 21 March, The idea was first ridiculed by president Gamal Abdel Nasser, first celebrated on 21 March 1956.



In Bangladesh, It's celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of May. In honor of the day discussion programs, reception programs and cultural programs are organized by government and non-governmental organizations. People often offer Greeting cards, flowers and gifts to mother's in honour of mother' Day.



Mom,

You are only one,nothing can be compared to the love a mother has for her children. Your love is incomparable, unconditional and inseparable. No matter where I go or what I do, at the end of the day I always find myself finding solace in your advice.



You are my spirit, my influence towards success. There is no replacement of you. You are the best and will be best forever.

One Mommy, One Mother in this World in One life. You are my spontaneous song of my heart of happiness, comfort and being. I may sometime forget the words but always remember the tune of you. You are so far from me but still you are in my mind.You are seriously a gift to me, I love you Mommy,Specially in foreign life, I'm missing you each & every steps in my life.
