দেশে বেশ কিছুদিন ধরেই বিভিন্ন জনের, বিশেষ করে বিরোধী দলের নেতাদের, গোপন ফোনালাপের রেকর্ড ফাস হয়ে আসছে। যেমন
সাদেক হোসেন খোকা-মান্নার গোপন ফোনালাপের রেকর্ড, তাবিত আউয়ালের ষড়যন্ত্রের ফোনালাপ ফাস ইত্যাদি।
