A verdict of film-releasing date

There's a common belief that movies in this sub-continent randomly flop during cricket or football world cup. For which big productions never take any risk during this period. Although some experimental movies are released; as their budget is too low, profit/loss is not main issue for them. And the result is of course flop production. So, take rest, have a tour abroad or do something else during world cup! Yes, all prominent directors and producers in India and Bangladesh follow this rule. I'm really surprised because of their lack of confidence to entertain, to pull the audience or to convince audience to watch their movies! Where's the power of creation then??? A 3 hours match or a day-long match postpones a million dollar creativity! Now see Ek Villain in India took the risk, and overcame with huge success there, I think its one of the top-grossers for this year. So, if you have doubt in your creation, how can you make something original??
