অনেকদিন পরে আবার এই সিরিজ লিখতে বসলাম। লেখার এই পর্ব সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কারণ এখানে থেকে এর ব্যাপক বিস্তার ঘটানো হয়েছে খুব সুপরিকল্পিতভাবে। সারা বিশ্বের মতো আমাদের দেশেও এই জঘন্য আচরণের প্রচারনা খুব সুক্ষ্মভাবে এখন চালানো হচ্ছে বিভিন্ন সামাজিক সাইট এবং অনলাইন অনুষ্ঠানের নামে। এদের আসল চরিত্রের মুখোশ উন্মোচনা করা খুব দরকার হয়ে পরেছে এখন। ঘটনার ধারাবাহিক বুঝারে জন্য এর আগের দুইটা পর্বও পড়ে আসার জন্য অনুরোধ রইলো।



অবিশ্বাস্য হলেও, সমকামিতা হলো আসলে একটা বিরাট পণ্য। এর বানিজ্যকীকরণ দ্রুতই হয়েছে কারণ এর সাথে প্যারেন্টিং এর চাহিদা কম থাকে। যুক্তরাজ্যের এক্সটার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইভলুশনারী জেনেটিসিস্ট এল্যান মুর মানুষের সমকামিতাকেও সেভাবেই দেখেছেন। তার ভাষায়, সমকামিতার বিস্তারের প্রধান কারণ পরিবার ও সমাজের প্রতি দায়বদ্ধতাহীনতা বা এককথায় অসামাজিকতা সমকামীতাকে শখে পরিণত করে। সমকামিতার সাথে জীববিজ্ঞানের চাইতে সমাজবিজ্ঞানের ভূমিকাই মূখ। কারণ আজ পর্যন্ত শত চেস্টা করেও কোন গবেষণার মাধ্যমে সমকামিতার সাথে জীববিজ্ঞানের নিশ্চিত কার্যকারণ কোন সূত্র আবিষ্কৃত হয়নি।

আধুনিক বিজ্ঞান প্রকাশ্যেই ঘোষনা করেছে সমকামী জিন বলে আসলে কিছু নেই। (সূত্র ১) এবং এর আগে এই বিষয়ে যা যা দাবী করা হয়েছিল সবগুলি ছিল নির্লজ্জ মিথ্যাচার।

বিস্তারের প্রথম ধাপঃ

সমকামিতা নিয়ে কিছু মানসিক রোগের থিওরী প্রথম দিয়ে গেছেন সিগমন্ড ফ্রয়েড এবং এর সমসাময়িক কিছু মনোবিদ। তবে এর বিস্তারে সবচেয়ে বড় ভূমিকা রেখেছেন আলফ্রেড চার্লস কিনসে। ১৯৪৮ সালে এই বিজ্ঞানী বের করেন তার প্রথম বই ‘Sexual Behavior in the Human Male’। ১৯৫৩ সালে প্রকাশিত হয় তার আরেকটি বই 'Sexual Behavior in the Human female’। এই দুইটা বই পাশ্চাত্যে প্রবল ঝড় তোলে, যৌনতা সম্পর্কে পাশ্চাত্যের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিতে আমূল পরিবর্তন এনে দেয়। পাশ্চাত্যের সামাজিক ইতিহাসকে এই বই দুইটার মতো হুট করেই আর কোন কিছু বদলে দিতে পারে নি। আজকের পাশ্চাত্য সমাজে প্রচলিত সেক্স এডুকেশান কিনসের কুখ্যাত এই দুইটা বইয়ের ওপরই নির্ভর করে আজও পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। যৌনতা সম্পর্কে আধুনিক পশ্চিমা সমাজের ধ্যানধারণা একেবারে শুরু থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত গড়ে উঠেছে আলফ্রেড কিনসের এই দুইটা বইয়ের উপর ভিত্তি করে। এই দুই বইতে কিনসে এমন কিছু কথা এবং তত্ত্ব দাবী করেছেন যা এই পৃথিবীতে মানুষ আগে কখনই জানতোই না বা চিন্তাও করে নি। (সূত্র ৪)

কিনসে দাবী করেন যে, প্রতিটা শিশুই জন্মের পর থেকেই সেক্সুয়ালী এক্টিভ, সাতমাস বয়সী একশিশু এবং একবছরের নিচের আরও পাঁচজন শিশুকে কিনসে নাকি মাস্টারবেট করতে দেখেছে। (সূত্র ২, ৩)। শিশুরা বয়স্ক সঙ্গী/সঙ্গীনীদের সঙ্গে আনন্দদায়ক এবং উপকারী যৌনমিলন করতেই পারে এবং করতে দেয়া উচিত। (সূত্র ২, ৩) পিতামাতার উচিত ৬-৭ বয়স থেকে শুরু করে শিশুদের মাস্টারবেট করতে শিখানো এবং মিলেমিশে একসঙ্গেই মাস্টারবেট করা। কিনসে দাবী করেন ৩৭% পুরুষ হোমোসেক্সুয়াল এক্সপেরিয়েন্সের সম্মুখীন হয় বয়ঃসন্ধিকাল থেকে বৃদ্ধ হবার সময়ের মধ্যে। (সূত্র ২)

কিনসে দাবী করেন, মানব যৌনতার ওপর কারও কোন কর্তৃত্ব ফলানো চলবে না। যার যা মন চাইবে, সে তাই করতে পারবে, এটাই স্বাভাবিকতা। সমকামিতা স্বাভাবিক, শিশুকাম, মাস্টারবেশন স্বাভাবিক, স্বাভাবিক সব ধরণের বিকৃত যৌনাচার, বরং নারী-পুরুষের স্বাভাবিক অন্তরঙ্গতাই অস্বাভাবিক। (সূত্র ৩)। পরবর্তীতে এই কুখ্যাত বিজ্ঞানীর কাজগুলো রিফিউটেশানের শিকার হয়েছে পাশ্চাত্যের বিভিন্ন বিজ্ঞানীদের দ্বারাই। যুগ যুগ ধরে বিভিন্ন বিজ্ঞানীরা দেখিয়েছেন, আলফ্রেড কিনসের দাবীগুলোর তেমন কোন সায়েন্টিফিক ভিত্তিই নেই, তার তথ্য এবং উপাত্তগুলো যথেষ্ট পরিমাণে গোঁজামিলে ভরপুর। (সূত্র ৩) এক্সপেরিমেন্ট করার জন্য অনেক সময় সাবজেক্টের ওপর চরম যৌন নির্যাতনও চালানো হয়েছে, রেহায় দেওয়া হয়নি এমন কি ছোট্ট ছোট্ট শিশুদেরকেও। কিন্তু ক্ষতি যা হবার তা আগেই হয়ে গেছে। কিনসে সব ধরণের বিকৃত যৌনাচারগুলিকে স্বাভাবিক করার যে জোর দাবী উঠেছিল তা বাস্তবায়নে এগিয়ে আসে বেশ কিছু গোষ্ঠি এবং কর্পোরেশন নিজেদের স্বার্থ বাস্তবায়নের জন্য। এরাই বছরের পর বছর ধরে বস্তায় বস্তায় ডলার ঢেলে কিনসের ভুয়া দাবীগুলো বিজ্ঞানের সহী শুদ্ধ পোশাক পরিয়ে উপস্থাপন করেছে পুরো বিশ্বের সাধারণ মানুষদের কাছে। ক্রমাগত গুনগান গাওয়া হয়েছে সমকামিতার, শিশুকামের। সেক্স এডুকেশানের নামে বাচ্চাদেরকে ছোট্টবেলা থেকেই শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়েছে সমকামিতা, মাস্টারবেশন, এনাল সেক্সের মতো জঘন্য বিষয়গুলো। ঠান্ডা মাথায় পশুকাম, শিশুকামকে স্বাভাবিক বলে ঘোষনা করার আপ্রাণ চেস্টা করা হয়েছে। এইসব কাজে যথেচ্ছা ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে প্রচলিত সবধরনের মিডিয়াকে। মিডিয়ার ব্যাপক প্রচারের মাধ্যমেই সমকামীদেরকে স্বাভাবিক দেখিয়ে সমাজের মূলধারায় নিয়ে আসার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা চালানো হয়েছে। অবিশ্বাস্য হলেও সত্য, এই কাজের জন্য নিষিদ্ধ পর্ণ ইন্ডাষ্ট্রিকেও ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। সেখান থেকে নিত্যনতুন পর্নমুভির মাধ্যমে হাতে-কলমে ট্রেনিং দেওয়া হয়েছে সমকামিতা সহ সকল বিকৃত যৌনাচারের। যার ফলাফল এখন ইন্টারনেটে সার্চ দিলেই খুব সহজেই এর সত্যতা পাওয়া যায়।

আলফ্রেড কিনসের এই হঠাৎ উত্থান কিন্তু নিজে নিজে হয়নি। তাকে দিয়ে খুব ঠান্ডামাথায় এই জঘন্য কাজটা করানো হয়েছে। তাকে প্যাট্রনাইজ কারা করেছে দেখলে, অবশ্য অনেকেই অবাক হবেন না, সেই কুখ্যাত রকফেলার সোসাইটি। ইন্টারনেটে কিনসে’র লাইফস্টোরী থেকে যা পাওয়া গেলঃ
Kinsey officially began sexual research in 1941 with the help of funds from the Rockefeller Foundation and the assistance of the National Research Council. In 1947 Kinsey founded the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University, now simply known as The Kinsey Institute. What has become clearer in the years since the publication of the Kinsey reports is that Kinsey was not merely gathering information about other people’s sexual experiences, but he was also engaging in assorted sexual practices with various members of the research team. ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে কিনসে কেমন ছিলেন সেটা জানার জন্য খোঁজ নিতেই পাওয়া গেল তার সাথেই কাজ করা একজন ব্যক্তির অটোবায়োগ্রাফী। দেখুন উনি কিনসে সর্ম্পকে কি বলেছেনঃ Instead of the staid atmosphere most people associate with academia, the Institute for Sex Research became a kind of sexual utopia for the gratification of the appetites of Kinsey and his team. According to one biographer, “Kinsey decreed that within the inner circle men could have sex with each other; wives would be swapped freely, and wives too, would be free to embrace whichever sexual partners they liked.” Kinsey himself engaged in various forms of heterosexual and homosexual intercourse with members of the institute staff, including filming various sexual acts in the attic of his home. কিনসে স্কেল - নামেই যার বিরাট ঘাপলাঃ

সুকৌশলে কিনসে একটা মানবজাতীর যৌনতার একটা স্কেল তৈরি করেছেন যেটা আজও সারাবিশ্বে প্রচলিত।
এটাকে কিনসে’র স্কেল বলা হয়।
কিনসে’র সেই স্কেল সর্ম্পকে আপনারা কতটুকু জানেন?

The Kinsey’s graded scale to define human sexuality:
0- Exclusively heterosexual with no homosexual
1- Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2- Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3- Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4- Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5- Predominantly homosexual, but incidentally heterosexual
6- Exclusively homosexual

কিনসে’র এই স্কেলের মাঝেই বিরাট ঘাপলা আছে। ভালো করে খেয়াল করুন। ৭টা ধাপ এবং একমাত্র সুস্থ স্বাভাবিক যেই ধাপ সেটাকেই “০” বা শূন্য দিয়ে মার্ক করা হয়েছে। প্রতিটা ধাপেই সমকামিতা’কে যোগ করা হয়েছে যেন এটাই স্বাভাবিক ব্যাপার। এবং এটার উল্টো বা বিষমকামিতা অস্বাভাবিক। আরও খেয়াল করুন, সমকামিতা’কে সহজভাবে বাইনারী স্কেলে প্রকাশ করলেই যেখানে হতো (হ্যাঁ বা না), সেখানে কিনসে জোর করে এটাকে আরও ৬টা ভাগে বিভক্ত করেছে ইচ্ছাকৃত ভাবে। Exclusively/Predominantly/Incidentally এই শব্দগুলির প্যাঁচে ফেলে কাউকে তার অজান্তেই সমকামী বলে ঘোষনা করে দেয়া যায়। ০ এবং ৬, এই দুইটা ধাপের দিকে খেয়াল করুনঃ

স্কেলটা যেভাবে দেয়া হয়েছিল সেই হিসেবে হওয়া উচিত ছিল 6- Exclusively homosexual with no heterosexual. কিন্তু তা দেয়া হয়নি। এভাবেই পুরো স্কেল সহ দুইটা বইতেই ইচ্ছেকৃতভাবে রিসার্চ ডাটাগুলি এমন করে সাজানো হয়েছে যেন মোট জনসংখ্যার মধ্যে সমকামীদের পারছেন্টেজ বেশি দেখানো যায়। সহজ ভাষায় বলা যায়ঃ Kinsey scale normalizes homosexuality and helped contribute to inflated percentages in some findings. কিনসে ধোঁকাবাজির ভয়ংকর সব নমুনাঃ

১৯৪৮ সালে প্রকাশিত বই ‘Sexual Behavior in the Human Male’ যেই দাবীগুলি করা হয়েছে সেইগুলি দেখুনঃ
The report asserted that nearly 69% of white males in the United States had sex with prostitutes. (সূত্র ৮) and also said “it is probably safe to suggest that about half of all married males have intercourse with women other than their wives, at some time while they are married.” (সূত্র ৯) Most surprising were the claims about the incidence of homosexuality among American men. Kinsey claimed 37% of males had homosexual physical contact to the point of orgasm at least once. (সূত্র ১০) Furthermore, he claimed 10% of all males are exclusively homosexual for at least three years between the ages of 16 – 55, and 4% of males are exclusively homosexual throughout the entirety of their lives. (সূত্র ১১) In Sexual Behavior in the Human Female, Kinsey further asserted between 2 – 6% of unmarried females are exclusively homosexual between the ages of twenty and thirty-five. (সূত্র ১২) While there was significant criticism of Kinsey’s claims, Ronald Bayer notes that for “homosexuals who were just beginning their efforts at organization and the struggle for social acceptance and legal rights, the findings were emboldening.” (সূত্র ১৩)

কিনসে এখানেই থেমে থাকে নি। সরাসরি এরপর আমেরিকার প্রচলিত সমাজ ব্যবস্থাকে আক্রমণ করেছেনঃ
Kinsey suggested American society’s moral revulsion to many of the sexual acts he described originated in “ignorance and superstition” and not in “scientific examinations of objectively gathered data.” Kinsey argues “We should no longer look at sexual behavior in the categories of right versus wrong, but instead in the categories of more common versus less common”. অর্থাৎ কিনসে নিজেই ঘোষনা করে দিয়েছেন সমকামিতাকে এখন থেকে আর wrong / ভুল বলে গণ্য করা যাবে না। আর সেই জন্যই কিনসে সর্ম্পকে বলা হয়ে থাকেঃ
During the Twentieth Century, no one individual did more to bring homosexuality into the public forum than Alfred Charles Kinsey.

কিনসে তার বইতে সমকামিতার সপক্ষে প্রচুর ডাটা দিয়েছেন। কিন্তু এইসব ডাটার বেশিরভাগই ভুল বা অবৈধ পথে যোগার করা হয়েছে। মিথ্যাচারও করা হয়েছে প্রচুর।
১। The most glaring problem with his data is the source of his sample. While the sample for Sexual Behavior in the Human Male numbered over 5,000, a disproportionate number came from prison inmates, many of whom were sex offenders. (সূত্র ১৫)

২। The Kinsey team interviewed some African Americans, but their data was not included in the tabulations. Furthermore, Kinsey over-sampled people recruited via homosexual-friendly organizations or magazines. College students also represented a disproportionate number of his sample. Jones and Yarhouse rightly critique these problems with Kinsey’s sample and say: “This is obviously not the type of methodology a person would implement if he or she were trying to get a representative outlook on the sexual behavior of the general population.” (সূত্র ১৬)

৩। Writing in 1949, W. Allen Wallis of the University of Chicago criticized Kinsey’s failure clearly to distinguish between hard statistical data and the more broad category of supplementary data and said, “Conclusions based on the sociological interpretations or the supplementary data are frequently stated along with those based on the statistical data, and it is frequently difficult to judge what the basis is for a given conclusion.” (সূত্র ১৭)

৪। Much of what Kinsey called “data” was actually vulgar, pornographic material with no morally redeeming value. He went so far as to include graffiti from bathroom walls in his research. Attempting to dignify the unwholesome filth often scrawled in public bathrooms, Kinsey noted, “From the days of ancient Greece and Rome, it has been realized that uninhibited expressions of sexual desires may be found in the anonymous inscriptions scratched in out-of-the-way places by authors who may freely express themselves because they never expect to be identified.” (সূত্র ১৮)

৫। The most disturbing and hotly debated part of Kinsey’s research is chapter 5 of Sexual Behavior in the Human Male titled, “Early Sexual Growth and Activity.” Kinsey gathered data from people who can only rightly be called child molesters. Describing the source of some of his data on small children he said, “Better data on pre-adolescent climax come from the histories of adult males who have had sexual contacts with younger boys and who, with their adult backgrounds, are able to recognize and interpret the boys’ experiences.” (সূত্র ১৯) Kinsey then goes on to say that “9 of our adult male subjects have observed such [pre-adolescent] orgasm. Some of these adults are technically trained persons who have kept diaries or other records which have been put at our disposal; and from them we have secured information on 317 pre-adolescents who were either observed in self masturbation, or who were observed in contacts with other boys or older adults.” (সূত্র ২০) This disturbing description of child molestation is accompanied by a statistical chart that documents the observation of pre-adolescent experiences in orgasm for children between the ages of 2 months and 15 years old. Later on in the book, Kinsey discusses masturbation and says, “Of course, there are cases of infants under a year of age who have learned the advantage of specific manipulation, sometimes as a result of being so manipulated by older persons; and there are some boys who masturbate quite specifically and with some frequency from the age of two or three.” (সূত্র ২১) Another chart in the male report titled “Speed of Adolescent Orgasm” records the length of time it took for children to reach climax and includes the notation, “Duration of stimulation before climax; observations timed with a second hand or stop watch. Ages range from five months of age to adolescence.” (সূত্র ২২) Perhaps the most painful reading in the male report is the description of children who supposedly experienced orgasm, a description supplied from adults who had sex with children, describing the children “groaning, sobbing, or more violent cries, sometimes with an abundance of tears (especially among younger children)” and also children who “will fight away from the partner.” This final description sounds like a terrified child being molested. কিনসে’র বইতে সবচেয়ে বড় মিথ্যাচার যেটা নিয়ে করা হয়েছে সেটা হলো ১০% এর মিথ। কিনসে বই দুটিতে দাবী করেছেন, সেই সময়ে আমেরিকান জনগোষ্ঠির নূন্যতম ১০% সমকামী ছিল। এটা পুরোপুরি মিথ্যা দাবী ছিল। সেই সময় যদি ১০% হয় থেকে, তাহলে এখন তো অনেক বেশি হবার কথা, তাই না? চলুন তাহলে রিসেন্ট একটা আমেরিক্যান স্টাটিস্টিক্যাল ডাটা/সার্ভে দেখে আসি যেখানে এদের পারছেন্টেজ খুব সুন্দর করে দেয়া আছে দেয়া আছে।
The pro-homosexual Williams Institute at UCLA’s School of Law reported in 2011 that about 3.5% of American adults self-identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual and that a further ০.03% identify as transgender. Among the 3.5% who identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual, bisexuals comprise a slight majority of 1.8% as opposed to 1.7% who identify as gay or lesbian. About 1.1% of women and 2.2% of men self-identify as exclusively homosexual. (সূত্র ২৫)

Heterosexual physical relationship এর উপর কিনসে অনেক আগে থেকে ক্ষিপ্ত ছিল যার প্রমান তার তার বিভিন্ন লেখাতেই পাওয়া যায়। Paul Robinson তার বইতে কিনসের এই ব্যতিক্রম চারিত্রিক বৈশিষ্ট্যের কথা স্পষ্টভাবে লিখে গেছেন (সূত্র ২৬)। সুতরাং কিনসের স্বাভাবিক যৌনসর্ম্পক’কে বা বিষমকামিতা’কে খারাপভাবে দেখানোটাতে অবাক হবার কিছুই নেই। নীচের অংশটুকু পড়ে দেখুন, নারী পুরুষের স্বাভাবিক যৌনসর্ম্পক’কে কিনসে কি দৃষ্টিতে দেখতেনঃ
Robinson noted that Kinsey strongly implied “all orgasms were equal, regardless of how one came by them, and that there were accordingly no grounds for placing heterosexual intercourse in a privileged position”.

“The notion of outlet, for all its apparent innocence, performed impor¬tant critical services for Kinsey. Principal among these was the demotion of heterosexual intercourse to merely one among a democratic roster of six possible forms of sexual release (the six, in order of their treatment in the Male volume, were masturbation, nocturnal emissions, heterosexual petting, heterosexual intercourse, homosexual relations, and intercourse with animals of other species) . . . . marital intercourse, was even more rudely confined to a single chapter toward the back of the book, where it received about one third the attention devoted to homosexual relations .... a remarkable feat of sexual leveling . . . the fundamental categories of his analysis clearly worked to undermine the traditional sexual order [Robinson, 1976, pp. 58, 59; emphasis added]. Robinson here points out a basic truth about the presentation of Kinsey's work: it was designed "to undermine the traditional sexual order." Of course, there is nothing wrong with trying to change the traditional sexual order if sound scientific research shows it to be unfounded.
Robinson added, in undennining established categories of sexual wisdom .... Kinsey assigned [prominence] to masturbation and homosexuality, both of which were objects of his partiality .... [He had a] tendency to conceive of the ideal sexual universe according to a homoerotic model.

অনেকেই হয়তো মনে করবেন কিনসে তো অনেক আগেই মারা গেছেন তাহলে কিভাবে সে এখনও সমকামিতার বিস্তারে প্রভাব রেখে যাচ্ছেন? আলফ্রেড কিনসে মারা গেছেন ঠিকই, তবে তার প্রতিষ্ঠিত কিনসে ইন্সটিটিউট এখনও সমকামিতার বিস্তারের জন্য নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে ফান্ডিং এবং সহযোগিতা পেয়ে। সামান্য একটা নমুনা দিলাম নীচেঃ

কিনসের বই দুইটা লেখার ফ্রড ডাটা কালেকশন মেথড এবং কিনসে ইন্সটিটিউট শুরু থেকে বর্তমানে এর ভয়ংকর কার্যকলাপ নিয়ে আরও অনেককিছু লেখার ইচ্ছে ছিল। তবে লেখার আয়তন এবং পাঠকের ধৈর্য্যের কথা চিন্তা করে এই পর্ব এখানেই শেষ করলাম। সময় এবং সুযোগ পেলে কিনসে’র বাকি অংশগুলি আলাদা একটা পর্ব লিখে ফেলবো।

আলফ্রেড চার্লস কিনসে’র উপর বাংলায় অনেকগুলি সাইটেই লেখা হয়েছে, বিশেষ করে http://lostmodesty.com/ এবং http://www.annoorbd.com/ বেশ ভালো লিখেছে তবে পর্যাপ্ত ডাটা এবং সূত্রের অভাবে তারা কিনসে’কে নিয়ে অল্প কিছু লিখেই শেষ করে দিয়েছে। কিন্তু এই বিষয়ে আমার কাছে অনেক বই এবং ভয়ংকর সব তথ্য সংগ্রহে আছে যেটা দিয়ে ইচ্ছে করলে আস্ত একটা বই লিখে ফেলা যায়। ধাপে ধাপে আমি সেই লেখা প্রকাশ করবো।

বেশ কিছুদিন ধরে মারাত্মক ব্যস্ত ছিলাম বইমেলায় বই করা নিয়ে, এর পর করোনাকালীন সময়ে পারিবারিক ব্যস্ততার কারণে ।
কিছু পর্ব আংশিক লেখার পরেও শত ইচ্ছে থাকা সত্ত্বেও শেষ করতে পারি নি। এইবার পর্বগুলি একটানা লিখে যাবো।
