বিগত ও বর্তমান সময়ের ‘প্রেক্ষিত’ বিবেচনায় এবং দেশ ও জনগনের স্বার্থে সম্পাদক হিসেবে

আপনাদের ভুমিকা যথার্থ ও অভিপ্রেত কি? তা যে নয় আপনাদের ভাষায় পুনরুল্ল্যেখ করছি--

• The actions were “unexpected” and “upsetting”,

• Alarming threat to press freedom.

• Incidents will undoubtedly weaken the foundations of democracy.

• Sending a negative message to the world about Bangladesh’s democratic values, culture, and tolerance.

• Many journalists will be thrown into unemployment. Yourselves will not be spared.



এত দিন পর আপনাদের অবগুণ্ঠিত ‘খোলস’ ও ‘মুখোস’ উন্মোচন করলেন। অনেকের অবস্থান জানা থাকলেও কারো কারো অবস্থান প্রগতিশীল ও নিরপেক্ষতার আড়ালে ঢাকা ছিল। কেউ কেউ ‘বামপন্থি হটকারিতায়’ লিপ্ত ছিলেন। ২/১ জন কিভাবে জড়ালেন জড়াতে পারলেন? –নিজেকেই বিশ্বাসে রাখতে পারছিনা।



ন্যায় আর অন্যায়ের মাঝখানে নিরপেক্ষ অবস্থান মানে অন্যায়কে সমর্থন করা ।বর্তমান সময় Neutrality‘র কোন স্থান নাই। রেখার যে কোন একপাশে থাকতে হবে।

”Polarization is inevitable”. আপনারা আবার প্রমান দিলেন ।



আপনারা কোথায় অবস্থান করছেন। আবার ভাবুন। শুভবুদ্ধির উদয় হোক।
