ওগো, শুনতে পাচ্ছো ! . . . ; গ্রীষ্মের অলস দুপুরে ঘাস ফড়িংয়ের কথনবিলাস, লাইব্রেরি কোলাহল থেকে খানিক দূরে ব্যালকনির ছদ্মবেশি নির্জনতায়, ঝর্ণার ফল্গুধারার মত - সময়ের কলেবরে বিরতিহীন দূরপাল্লার বাসের মত; এক দুই তিন চার (ঘণ্টা) বা তারও অধিককাল! দূর থেকে ভেসে আসা চুম্বনের শব্দ সাহারা, লাদাখ হয়ে রূপসী বাংলায় পৃথিবীর আদিম আবেগের পুনঃ পুনঃ প্রকাশ, সময়ের ক্যানভাসে একটুকরো ভালবাসা যমুনার নীল জল ছুঁয়ে আফ্রিকার ঘন অরণ্যে, পানামার অথৈ জলে গুচ্ছ গুচ্ছ অভিমান উল্কা বৃষ্টির মত পড়ে, হোয়াংহো নদী থেকে উঠে আসা ট্রিলিয়ন ট্রিলিয়ন দুঃখ আজ যমুনার নীল জল হয়ে আন্দামান নিকোবর দ্বীপপুঞ্জের দিকে; সুদীর্ঘ সময়ের ক্লান্তি আজ জমা পড়েছে জর্ডানের মর্মর সাগরে। ওখানে যে সবই মৃত!
