এখানে আপনি যে শব্দটা শুনছেন সেটা ১৩০০০০০০০০ বছর আগে দুটি ব্ল্যাক হোল একসাথে মিশে যে গ্রাভিটেশনাল ওয়েভ তৈরী করেছিল তার ই প্রতিফলন। এই ওয়েভ যে ইউনিভার্সে আছে সেটা ১৯১৫ তে আইনস্টাইন প্রিডিক্ট করেছিলেন।
এই কসমিক ক্র্যাশ থেকে উৎপন্ন গ্রাভিটেশনাল ওয়েভ আলোর গতিতে মহাবিশ্বে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে... আর তার ই প্রতিফলন হল এই ওয়েভ। এই ক্র্যাশ এর সময় সূর্যের তিন গুনের সমান মাস গ্রাভিটেশনাল ওয়েভ এ পরিনত হয়। মজার কথা নিউটন বলেছিলেন যে গ্রাভিটি হবে instantaneous- তার মানে সূর্য যদি কোনভাবে 'উধাও' হয়ে যায়, পৃথিবী ও সাথে সাথে ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে (অক্ষ থেকে ছিটকে পড়বে) কিন্তু আইনস্টাইন ই বলেছিলেন কোন কিছু, ইভেন গ্রাভিটি ও আলোর গতির বেশী চলতে পারবে না। সুর্য হারিয়ে গেলেও আট মিনিট ২০ সেকেন্ড লাগবে পৃথিবী 'ধ্বংস' হতে (সুর্য থেকে পৃথিবীতে আলো আসতে এই সময় ই লাগে)। আইনস্টাইন ই সঠিক!!!!!

আর কত দুরে এই কলিশন টা হয়েছে....?? 1.3 billion years এ আলো যতটুকু যেতে পারে!!!!!!

কেন এই নিয়ে এত হইচই:

যতবারএই শব্দটা শুনছি, ততবার নিজেকে আপ্লুত মনে হচ্ছে কেননা এমন একটা আবিস্কার জীবন দশায় দেখবার চিন্তা করি নাই। অনেক বইতে পড়েছিলাম এই ওয়েভের কথা কিন্তু স্বয়ং আইনস্টাইন ও সন্দিহান ছিলেন যে এমন কোন টেকনোলজি হয়ত কখনও হবে না যে এই ওয়েভকে ডিটেক্ট করা যাবে। আজ সারা আমেরিকার মিডিয়া/একাডেমিক সার্কেলে হইচই পড়ে গিয়েছে। বাংলায় লিখা কঠিন হয়ে যাবে কিন্তু আজ ইন্টারনেট সরগরম এই খবর নিয়ে। লিংকে গেলেই সব পড়তে পারবেন।

কিন্তু শব্দটা শুনতে ভুলবেন না কেননা ভবিষ্যতে এই রকম শব্দ ই আপনাকে নিয়ে যাবে বিগ ব্যাং এর কাছে.....
