There is not much of concept of franchise in our country.
Technically shopno is not a franchise. Still you can take that as a example. Likely your teacher will not know or understand that.

Anyway.
The problems are,
a. The franchise company will have lot of financial capacity. So, they can keep price low. So, this will harm local business.
b. They have organized capital, which local business do not have.
c. They can't give advertisement as much as the franchise.
