খালেদা জিয়া বলেছেন...আজ ২৫ অক্টোবর থেকে দেশে কোন সরকার নাই...। তার কথা যদি সত্যি হয় তাহলে আমরা কি সরকারবিহিন দেশে আছি? তাহলেতো সেটা ভয়ংকর এক পরস্থিতি। কিন্তু তার কথা যদি মিথ্যা হয- তাহলে কি সেটা রাস্ট্রদোহীতা ? আসুন প্রথমে সবচেয়ে গনতান্ত্রিক দেশ আমেরিকার সংবিধান থেকে রাস্ট্রদোহিতা কি দেখি--
Generally, a person may be punished for sedition only when he or she makes statements that create a Clear and Present Danger to rights that the government may lawfully protect

চলুন এবার দেখি সরকারের মেয়াদ কি সত্যি আজ শেষ ?
সংবিধানের ৫৭ অনুচ্ছেদে আছ-
Tenure of office of Prime Minister
....
(2) If the Prime Minister ceases to retain the support of a majority of the members of Parliament, he shall either resign his office or advise the President in writing to dissolve Parliament, and if he so advises the President shall, if he is satisfied that no other member of Parliament commands the support of the majority of the members of Parliament, dissolve Parliament accordingly.
(3) Nothing in this article shall disqualify Prime Minister for holding office until his successor has entered upon office.

Tenure of office of other Ministers

(3) Nothing in sub clauses (a), (b) and (d) of clause (1) shall disqualify a Minister for holding office during any period in which Parliament stands dissolved.
(4) If the Prime Minister resigns from or ceases to hold office each of the other Ministers shall be deemed also to have resigned from office but shall, subject to the provisions of this Chapter, continue to hold office until his successor has entered upon office.

(3) A general election of the members of Parliament shall be held-
(a) in the case of a dissolution by reason of the expiration of its term, within the period of ninety days preceding such dissolution ; and
(b) in the case of a dissolution otherwise than by reason of such expiration, within ninety days after such dissolution :
Provided that the persons elected at a general election under sub-clause (a) shall not assume office as members of Parliament except after the expiration of the term referred to therein.

তবু--তত্বাবধাযক সরকারগুলোর সব গুলাকেতো বিএনপিও ভাল বলে না। লাস্টেরটা তো ২ বছর ধইরাো তারেকরে পিডাইলো। পারলে ৫ বছর থাকতো। ২ দল মিলা সরকার করলে প্রবলেম কি ?

সাইফুল আলম শাহিন বলেছেন: অন্তবতিকালিন সরকার হল নির্বাচনকালিন সরকার। সেটা নির্বাচনের আনুষ্ঠানিক ঘোষনা হলে তখনকার সরকার হবে অন্তবতিকালিন সরকার। সেটাতে সব দলের অংশগ্রহনের চেষ্টা চলছে...এই অবস্থায় অন্তবতিকালিন সরকার গঠন কাদের নিয়ে বাস্তবায়ন করবে। সমাঝোতা হোক বা না হোক নির্বাচনের আনুষ্ঠানিক ঘোষনা হলে তখনকার সরকার হবে অন্তবতিকালিন সরকার।
