Indeed, I am striving

Lucifer on my back.

I've been running and hiding,

Lucifer on my back.



There is a definite goal that is destined

But, with Lucifer on my back,

I am that ultimate victim.

He won’t let me beware of my lack.



I been striving

From Friday, Saturday, Sunday

To Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

And Thursday.



What do I need to do ?

What do I need to be ?

Well, I am running down the right track.

And I have no more chances to get it back.



My Lord ! Please help me;

Lucifer on my back.

They will get me,

If I dare to look back.



Oh, Lord ! Give me strength;

Lucifer on my back.

Oh, Lord ! Give me courage

So evil won’t guide my path.



Won’t YOU bestow upon me kindness !

Unto all the time I lack ?

Won’t YOU give me forgiveness,

Free my soul of the sinful burdens ?



I been striving

From Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

And Thursday.



What do I have to do?

What do I have to do?

Just have to firmly hold;

The Qur’an and the Sunnah on the go.
