Some Thoughts….. (1)

আমি ভাবতে ভালোবাসি। বিশেষ করে পথ চলতে চলতে কিছু বিক্ষিপ্ত ভাবনার উদয় হয়ে থাকে আমার মনে। ঘরে ফিরে সেগুলোর মধ্যে যা কিছু মনে থাকে, সেগুলো নোটস এ টুকে রাখি। কিছু কিছু ভাবনা আমি টুইটারে প্রকাশ করেছিলাম, আবার কিছু একটি ইংরেজী কবিতার ওয়েবসাইটে, আমার পেইজে। পাসওয়ার্ড হারিয়ে ফেলার কারণে অনেকদিন টুইটারেও প্রবেশ করতে পারিনি, আমার সেই কবিতার পেইজেও। নতুন করে পাসওয়ার্ড সেট করার ঝামেলায়ও যেতে চাইনি। তাই আমার এ ভাবনাগুলো এতদিন আমার দৃষ্টি এবং আয়ত্তের বাইরে ছিল। সেদিন আচমকা হারিয়ে যাওয়া পাসওয়ার্ড দুটো মনে পুনরাবির্ভূত হওয়াতে প্রথম প্রয়াসেই টুইটারে প্রকাশ করতে সফল হয়েছিলাম। কয়েকবারের চেষ্টায় কবিতার ওয়েবসাইটেও। সেখানে লিপিবদ্ধ আমার এ ভাবনাগুলোকে উদ্ধার করে একটি এমএস ওয়ার্ড ফাইলে রেখে দিলাম। তার মধ্য থেকে কয়েকটা নিয়ে আজকের এ পোস্টটা লিখে ফেললাম।

বাংলা ব্লগে ইংরেজি পোস্ট, আমার চোখেও ভালো ঠেকে না। তবুও এগুলো এখানে লিখে রাখছি পুনরায় না হারাবার ভয়ে। পাঠকেরা পড়বেন কিনা, সেটা তাদের অভিরুচি। সামাজিক মাধ্যমের আর কোথাও না গেলেও সামহোয়্যারইন ব্লগে থেকে যাবার এবং লিখে যাবার ইচ্ছে আছে আমি যতদিন বাঁচি আর এ ব্লগ যতদিন বাঁচে। সেজন্য এ ব্লগকে একটা আরকাইভ হিসেবে ধরেই আমার ভাবনাগুলোকে এখানে রেখে গেলাম। এগুলো এমন কোন মূল্যবান কথা নয়, তবুও কেউ যদি এখান থেকে কোন কিছু কোট করতে চান, তবে দয়া করে লেখককে স্বীকৃতিটুকু দিয়েই কোট করার অনুরোধ রইলো।

1. A pen is a loyal companion, a person’s invisible friend in loneliness.

2. Nature is beautiful, so are men and women who love and nurture nature, be it even in a small measure compared to how nature nurtures mankind.

3. Love is the foundation of all positive vibes and emotions. Affection and infatuation develop on this foundation.

4. Love may bloom through pain but once bloomed, it's a flower of joy and happiness!

5. Poems express love because poems come from the poet’s heart, and the heart is where love abides in abundance.

6. Kindness is a multiplier of virtues!

7. Love hurts more often than it heals.

8. Where there is love, there are dreams. Absence of love can give only nightmares!

9. One who hasn't known love, hasn't known grief.

10. A poet’s best poem comes out when he is in the worst pain. Pain is a profound, prolific producer.

11. Even if love deserts us, its ‘afterglow' remains in our hearts till darkness descends!

12. The fallen leaves too are a beauty. They evoke a pain of abandonment. Pain evokes poetry.

13. Truth is the foundation of knowledge. Conscience is the best teacher.

14. Any knowledge devoid of truth is not knowledge, but ignorance.

15. The undisclosed crushes are the sweetest and the warmest; They erupt naturally and settle in the bottom of the bosom quietly; unblemished and unblighted by the frictions of familiarity.

16. Good friends are priceless assets of life. Conversely, the bad ones are bad liabilities.

17. Hope is the vessel that carries us through the turbulent waves of the sea of life!

18. Those who are meagrely-worded in speech, can be eloquently fluent in their writings. The vice-versa is also true. The verbose speeches are often misleading; the writings are seldom.

19. It is not easy for an aquarium fish to survive in a deep ocean. Before jumping out, should it want to do so, it needs to attain adequate swimming skill.

20. Free and fact based journalism is indispensable for democracy to thrive in a state. Truth strengthens Democracy. Autocrats and megalomaniacs destroy this institution first and foremost, often at their own peril which they can understand not too late.

21. Funeral of citizens’ freedom precedes state crimes by autocrats or fascist regimes.

22. Our sense of possession is the most misleading sense, to which our aspirations and intentions succumb like the winged ants do to a lantern. Nothing is ours, nothing at all- our health, wealth, fame, love, pride, and least of all, our possessions.

23. We meet and we part. Our meetings and partings are like the stoppages of a train journey. On reaching the terminus the train turns around and takes the return route. On reaching our terminus, we begin a new journey altogether. There is no return route for us; it only goes forward.

24. Grief is the mother of all human emotions and the ultimate emotion that prevails. Joy and happiness are temporary masks that grief wears. They slip down on and off.

25. Women carry the seeds of mankind in their wombs for almost ten months before delivering a human baby and primary food for mankind in their breasts for the first two years on their birth. Just for these two reasons, men should be ever respectful to them and never be unjust to them.

26. If a wrist watch, a table clock or a wall clock stops ticking, we can restart them by changing the battery. Human body clock is for one time use. It has no second battery, no Chinese version either.
