On the occasion of Eide Miladun Nabi (PBUH) we are inviting students to participate in an essay competition from all over the country.

• Based on the noble life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) write an essay explaining what you have learned from him (pbuh) and how you will use his life as an example to solve problems in our current times.

• Your essay must address any one of the following issues from the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallillahu alaihi wa alihi wa salllam):

o How the current political deadlock in society can be resolved

o How corruption can be eliminated

o How can society develop and progress spiritually, economically and intellectually

o How can we establish social equality, justice and freedom in society

• Your essay will be marked based on the following conditions. You MUST:

o provide references from the Holy Quran, Sahih Hadith and Sunnah.

o link the example from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to your present time

o connect the Prophet’s (PBUH) life with your daily life through examples

o conclude and suggest steps to practice the lessons learned from Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life to improve the conditions in your society.

• Your essay can be in Bangla or English. Boys and girls of any age up to class X can participate. The essays should reach our office through your school by the deadline 21.02.2013. Essay can be handwritten, typed or in computer print out.

• There will be attractive prizes and certificates for the first 50 winners.

o First 3 winners will receive cash prizes from Tk 2000 up to Tk 5000 each

o 10 writers to get cash prize of Tk 1000 each

o Certificates of Distinction for first 50 writers

o Publication in a renowned magazine (selected top articles)

o Publication in a daily newspaper (selected top articles)

• On the top page mention your name, age, class, school name, district, home address and mobile number (if any).

• You may wish to read books on the prophet’s (PBUH) life. You may also search on the internet.

• Make sure your essay reaches us within the deadline (21.02.2013). Good luck!!
