An estimated 9 million Syrians have fled their homes since the outbreak of civil war in March 2011, taking refuge in neighbouring countries or within Syria itself. Kuwait held an amnesty for migrants in irregular situations from March 1 to June 30, 2011 (N. বর্তমান সময়ের জনপ্রিয় নায়িকা কলকাতার নুসরাত ফারিয়া ২০১৫ সালের অক্টোবরের দিকে হ‍ুট করেই পরিণত হয়েছিলেন সর্বাধিক আলোচিত ইস্যুতে। তারই সুত্র ধরে এবার গুগল টপ কিওয়ার্ড হিসেবে স্থান পেলো নুসরাত ফারিয়ার নাম। গত অক্টোবর থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৩ কোটি ৯৬ লক্ষের অধিক সময় ‘নুসরাত ফারিয়া পাদ’ লিখে গুগলে সার্চ করা হয়েছে। যার মধ্যে বাংলাদেশ থেকে সার্চ করেছে ১ কোটি ৫০ লাখ, ইন্ডিয়া থেকে ১ কোটি ৩০ লাখ এবং ইউরোপ কান্ট্রিগুলে‍া থেকে মোটমাট ১ কোটি ২৬ লাখ মানুষ !


‘শ্যুটিংয়ের সময় পাদ দিলেন নুসরাত ফারিয়া’ – এই শিরোনামে একটি নিউজ গতবছর অনলাইনে ভাইরাল হবার পর নুসরাত ফারিয়ার রাতারাতি হয়ে যান ফেমাস সুপারস্টার। এখনো অনেককেই তার পোস্টে ছবির নিচে ‘পুত পুত’ লিখে কমেন্ট করতে দেখা যায়। ব্যাপারটি বেশ উপভোগ করছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন নুসরাত ফারিয়া। তিনি বলেন, আমি আনন্দিত। একজন অভিনেত্রী যে শুধু অভিনয় করেই মানুষকে বিনোদন দিবে, তা কিন্তু নয়। একটু ভিন্নভাবেও বিনোদন দেয়া যায়। আমি দর্শকদের বিনোদিত করতে পেরে আনন্দিত।
