পৃথিবীটা মাঝে মাঝে হঠ্যাৎ

করে থেমে যায়

আমি থেমে গেছি, সময় স্থির

অথবা ঘড়িতে চাবি দেওয়া হয় নি,

কিন্তু আমি বুঝতে পারি কিছু

একটা থেমে গেছে

রাত অনেক রহস্যের হয়,

আমি জেগে থাকি ।এখন আমি আর

রাতে ঘুমাই না । রাত পচা, রাত

কামনাময়ী, রাত বেদনাদায়ক, রাত

নেশা, রাত অন্ধকার

পোড়া কালো ঠোটের মত
