Moreover, these changing Bangladesh regimes also have been responsible for democide. For example, from 1972 to August 1974, 6,000 political opponents were murdered.

শাহ আজিজ বলেছেন: ৭১ এর নিরীহ বাঙালি নিধনকারী পাক সহযোগী বাহিনি ও শান্তি কমিটি এবং ভয়ঙ্কর বিহারিদের কচুকাটা করা হয়নি সেটা ওদের সৌভাগ্য । আর একটি সুযোগ যদি মেলে তবে আগের ভুলের পুনরাবৃত্তি হবে না। ঢাকার ড্রেন রাজাকার আর বিহারির রক্তে আটকে যাবে।

অনিকেত বৈরাগী তূর্য্য বলেছেন: বিহারীদের পাশবিকতা তো গা শিউরে ওঠার মতো! এতদিন বাংলায় থেকেও কেন তারা বাঙালির আপন হয়ে ওঠতে পারে নি? নির্যাতনের সূত্রপাত তো প্রথমে তারাই ঘটিয়েছিলো, যদ্দুর জানি।

তারপরও এই ইতিহাসের যেহেতু অস্তিত্ব আছে দেখা যায়, ইহা লইয়া বিস্তারিত গবেষণা, আলোচনা চলুক। আমরা সত্য জানিতে চাই ! গবেষণা হইলেই সত্য-মিথ্যা বাহির হইয়া যাইবে। এবিষয়ে চাঁদগাজী কাকুর দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করিতেছি !
প্রসঙ্গত বলি, পশ্চিমা ও দেশি মিডিয়ায় সারাক্ষন হিটলার, নাজি পার্টি, অক্ষ শক্তির যুদ্ধাপরাধ বিষয়ে তথ্য পাইয়াছি ! এইবার বইমেলায় দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধে মিত্রশক্তির যুদ্ধপরাধের ইতিহাস পাইলাম !
বাঙালি কতৃক এমন কিছু হইয়াছে ইহা বিশ্বাস করিতে মন চাহে না, তবুও এই অভিযোগের নিস্পত্তি হওয়া উচিত।
