তোমায় ছাড়া (A Bengali poem with English transliteration and translation)

তোমায় ছাড়া



আমি আজও তোমার প্রতীক্ষায় বসে আছি (ami aj o tomar protik khay bo she achi)

আমার সময় আজও স্থির হয়ে আছে সে মূহুর্তের জন্য (amar shomoy aj o sthir hoye ache se muhur ter jonno)

হৃদয়ের সরনির বাকেঁ বাকেঁ আজও খুঁজি তোমায় (ridoy er shoronir ba ke ba ke aj o khuji tomay)

তোমার আশায় থেকে থেকে হয়ে যাই আমি বন্য (tomar ashay theke theke hoye jai ami bonno)



রাতের আধাঁরের মিষ্টি আভা এখনও আছে আগের মত (raat er adharer mishti ava ekhono ache aager moto)

এখনও রুদ্র তাপে দিনের আলোয় সূর্য উঠে (ekhono rudro ta pe diner aloy surjo uthe)

এখনও সব ঠিক সেরকমই আছে যে রকম আগে ছিল (ekhono shob thik se rokom e ache ze rokom aage chilo)

শুধু তুমি নেই,তুমি ছাড়া সব বিষণ্ণ হয়ে উঠে (shudhu tumi nei,tumi chara shob bishonno hoye uthe)



বিষাদের সুর মনে বেজে উঠে (bishader sur mo ne beje uthe)

বারবার এই হৃদয়ের রাজত্ব ভেঙে চুরে যায় (barbar ei ridoy er rajotto venge chu re jay)

শূণ্য এই মনের জানালা দিয়ে লু হাওয়া বয়ে যায় (shunno ei moner janala diye lu hawa boye jay)

একটুকু শান্তির পরশ এই মন পেতে চায় (eto tuku shantir porosh ei mon pete chay)



আজও তোমার প্রতি নিবেদন ফিরে এসো (aj o tomar proti nibedon fi re esho)

আমায় ক্ষমা করে দিয়ে কাছে থেকো (amay khoma kore diye ka che theko)



English translation: Without you



I am still waiting for you

My time is still at a standstill waiting for that moment

I still search for you with all my heart

My wait for you has made me restless



The sweet ambiance of the dark night still remains the same

The sun still rises amid the day's heat

Everything is still the same as it used to be before

Just you are missing,without you everything turns lifeless



My mind is full of sorrow

Continuously i am becoming heart broken

A warm gusty wind blows through the empty heart

The mind wants to get a touch of some happiness



Even today i request you to come back,

Forgive me and stay close
