Divisive Politics in Bangladesh

In recent times, we have observed a series of communal tensions in our country. To me, each of these incidents seems politically motivated. Political parties, particularly those with Islamist ideologies in the context of Bangladesh, appear to exploit these situations to create division among the people. They periodically bring up various issues to incite unrest, aiming to gain political leverage by fostering disunity among citizens.

However, public support can be garnered without undermining social cohesion and communal harmony. If this trend continues, I fear we might witness the rise of a government similar to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in India, known for its divisive politics where the minority Muslims get tortured.
